| Free professional supervised play is available in our Playtime marquee for parents and carers attending ticketed areas or a therapy. All staff have Enhanced Disclosure certificates.
We have books, toys, soft play and games to stimulate and interest your child whilst in our care – we want it to be a fun, happy and enjoyable experience for them – and you – which in turn will make it all the more enjoyable for us. If you’d like to try it but aren’t too sure, pay a visit to the Playtime marquee at any time and speak to the staff; sit for a while with your child to ‘test the water’ – you may be surprised to find how quickly and easily they settle, particularly if they are with siblings or friends. And if, having left your child in our care, we find that he or she is not settling, we will contact you to let you know – wherever you are.
You may register your child for a place in the Playtime marquee at any point on the day you are attending any of the programmed areas. As places are limited, those attending ticketed activities and shows will be given priority over parents and carers attending therapies.

The Registration Process
- Please allow at least 10 minutes to register and settle your child.
- A registration form will be completed for each child attending the Playtime marquee. You will be asked to provide your child’s date of birth and a password. This information is required when you collect your child!
- You will be asked what marquee you will be attending and the anticipated duration – please ensure you stay in the location you have given whilst your child is in our care; it is important that we are able to contact you if necessary.
- Unless parents/carers are attending consecutive events, children are not expected to occupy the Playtime Marquee marquee for more than 1 hour.
Please do not bring food to the Playtime marquee. Emergency nappies are provided by Parents Like Us for children who may need them, but unless the need is obvious, staff will not automatically change your child – it would be helpful if you could do this before leaving your child at the Playtime marquee. |
